There are two ways to fix the problem with the game: One, you can disable the Xbox One’s native DirectX 11.2 rendering engine and force the game and your PC to use DirectX 12.
This is known as an API downgrade.
Two, you might want to disable all graphics features, including the gamepad.
The Xbox One does not support the Xbox SmartGlass, so you’ll have to enable it for this step.
Disable all graphics in Xbox One settings If you’re using a PC, make sure that the Windows 10 version of the game isn’t using an outdated DirectX 11 API or you’ll be able to play with older features.
If your Xbox Live Gold subscription is canceled or you’ve lost it, try using the console-specific version of Xbox Live to see if the graphics are improved.
For Windows 10 users, the best option is to use the Xbox Insider program.
Here’s how to do it: Open Xbox One Settings Tap Settings Select the Display tab Select the Advanced tab Enable the DirectX 11 or DirectX 12 renderer in your console Settings will pop up.
You’ll be presented with an option to enable the game, and the option should be selected.
