In terms of growth, the graphic design movement is the hottest industry in the United States, according to a new study by Nielsen.
But there are more companies producing graphics in 2017 than ever before.
According to Nielsen’s research, graphic design is the most popular job in the country, and that number will grow from 1.4 million jobs in 2020 to 2.6 million jobs by 2022.
The infographic below breaks down how graphic design jobs have grown from 2011 to 2020, and it shows that the number of graphic designers in the U.S. is growing at a much faster rate than any other industry.

The graphic designers are the most important part of any company’s business and have to be paid top dollar.
The top 10 industries with the most graphic designers per employee in the entire U.N. are: advertising, design, advertising and marketing, entertainment, media, finance and insurance, technology and information, retail trade, and retail trade and services.
And in 2018, the number two graphic designer job category was design and graphic effects.

In 2009, graphic designers and graphic designers were the only two professionals to hold all the coveted design jobs in the United States.
That changed dramatically in 2013, when more than 20,000 graphic designers quit the profession.
In an article for the online magazine Design and Technology, author Brian Krebs said that graphic design was now in crisis.
“It’s like a zombie apocalypse,” he wrote.
“The design industry is going through a death spiral.”
Graphic designers and designers in the industry, he said, were “struggling to stay relevant, and the best of the best have been leaving the industry.”
A quick look at the number of graphic design jobs shows that the industry is facing an unprecedented crisis.
In 2016, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the total number of workers in graphic design decreased by more than 13 percent over the previous year.
This is a sharp decline, and there are many reasons for the decrease.
Graphic design has experienced a major downturn in the past decade.
It’s been one of the most difficult industries to get into.
It was once one of America’s most lucrative industries.
It has become one of its most precarious industries.
And it has lost a lot of talent.
The problem is that many of these artists are leaving the profession, but that doesn’t mean they’re leaving because they can’t pay the bills.
The industry is also facing a significant influx of new talent.
Between 2010 and 2016, about 7 percent of graphic designers in America were millennials, according to the National Center for Educational Statistics.
These workers were also among the least-educated and least-skilled, and their entry into the profession has been slow.
“This has been a major transition in terms of the economy, as it’s been the fastest-growing segment of the workforce,” said Lauren Latham, a senior vice president at New York-based agency Latham and Associates.
In 2013, there were almost 1.6 million people in graphic art and design jobs.
By 2019, the number was only about 1.1 million.
The jobs that remain are often low-paying, especially in the design and illustration fields.
Many designers are working in highly competitive industries, which often pay below the federal minimum wage.
They are often in small, often remote offices, and many work on smaller projects, which means that they often have limited opportunities to pursue other careers.
“They’re doing a lot less than what they used to,” said Mark Hargrove, a professor of design and graphic arts at the City University of New York.
In some cases, these jobs are being replaced by other, less-paying industries, including computer and software design and web design.
But while some designers are leaving, they are also coming back.
The number of jobs in graphic arts and design increased by more a quarter between 2013 and 2019.
And the proportion of those jobs that are lower-paying grew, too.
The proportion of graphic artists who earned less than $50,000 increased from 15 percent in 2013 to 17 percent in 2019.
Many of these jobs have become less competitive.
“What we’re seeing is that the cost of doing graphic design has gone up, so we’re looking at designers making less money,” said Andrew Pfeiffer, a graphic designer who runs a website called Graphic Design Weekly.
“That means they have to do more creative things like redesigning images and adding additional colors to an image to really get it to stand out.”
The profession is facing the consequences of this, as well.
The BLS reports that between 2014 and 2019, there was a 3.5 percent drop in the number and quality of jobs that were in the field.
The biggest contributor to this is a drop in graphic designers’ ability to pay their bills, according the BLS.
The cost of designing, designing and design is still rising, and that is making it harder for artists to earn a living.
In a 2016 article for Business Insider, writer Mark Bittman reported on a study that found that only 6 percent of the graphic designers he surveyed were making a living, and only 5 percent were working part time.
That makes them the least well-off of the two professions.
The profession has also seen a sharp increase in the rate of retirements.
In 2017, there will be nearly a half-million more graphic designers who will be over the age of 65, and they will be far more likely to be working part-time.
That is an increase of nearly a million workers over the past 20 years.
The recession and the slowdown in the economy have led to a huge increase in retirements among graphic designers, which has made it even harder for designers to maintain their jobs.
