The NHL has been plagued by poor interior design for years now.
Now the league is looking to address that issue by overhauling the look of its arenas.
The league announced on Thursday it has hired Peter Vosberg, a design director with over 25 years of experience in the interior design industry, to work on the overhaul of the league’s arenas.
Vosberg will report to NHL commissioner Gary Bettman.
The NHL says it expects to have a final design ready by the end of 2019.
